Over the past couple of weeks, it’s been reported that there’s a schism between House Speaker Mike Turzai and Majority Leader David Reed. The tension boiled over when Speaker Turzai blabbed his plans to oust David Reed from the Leadership position to a few lobbyists and there was a fight over it. Reports indicate that there’s a couple of dozen (who knows?) state representatives working on ousting House Speaker Turzai if a budget is not finished by the end of this week.
Legislators took time to call Turzai out on Friday and have now launched the “#LetReedLead” hashtag. You know where and how to submit your thoughts, but here are the first two do so.
