This Black Friday Support Activist Media!
By now all of our mailboxes and inboxes are filled with sale flyers and “big savings” announcements as the official launch of the holiday shopping frenzy begins. We hope that you’re going to support as many local businesses as possible this year – I know that my family and I are thinking about giving gift memberships to local CSAs and craft breweries, for example.
I want to ask you to consider a couple of very easy ways to help support Raging Chicken Press this season as well. If you’ll be doing any online shopping on Amazon.com this year, use THIS LINK. Better yet, bookmark THIS LINK and use it EVERY time you shop at Amazon.com. Nothing will change for you. However, about 6% of every purchase you make will be skimmed off Amazon’s bottom line and given to Raging Chicken Press – AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO YOU. That’s right. You don’t pay any thing extra, but Amazon gives money to Raging Chicken. And feel free to share THIS LINK with friends and family and ask them to use it too. It may not sound like a lot, but I’ll tell you that using that link can really help us a lot.
Of course the BEST way you can support Raging Chicken this holiday season is to become a member for as little as $2/month. As you know, we are digging in for the serious fights that will come with a Trump presidency. We need to strengthen and expand our progressive media networks. We’re prepared to do that at Raging Chicken. We are beginning to pay our regular contributors and we’ve brought on some additional tech support. But the only way we can keep doing is his through your membership.
You can also make a one-time donation to Raging Chicken Press by clicking the PayPal Donate button below. If you aren’t ready to become a member, but want to make sure that we are doing everything we can to support homegrown activist media this holiday season please consider a one-time donation. A Trump presidency is just two months away. We need to be prepared.
Thank you again for all the support you have given us over the years. Here’s hoping for a happy holiday season as we lean in to the struggles ahead!
