#PA87: Harrisburg Baseball Team Co-Owned By Greg Rothman to Get $40,000 Hotel Tax Break

Next Tuesday there’ll be a number of special elections to fill the vacancies of the Philadelphia State Representatives who plead guilty in the bribery sting and to fill seats left by a couple of recently retired Republicans.  One of those races includes the Pennsylvania 87th House District, which was vacated by Glenn Grell.  In the race to replace Grell, Greg Rothman, a former Rick Santorum acolyte, was chosen by the local Republican Party.

According to Rothman’s twitter account, he is listed as co-owner of the Harrisburg Senators, an A-ball affiliate for the Washington Nationals, and according to Roxbury News, the baseball team is going to get a $40,000 hotel tax break from Dauphin County.  According to the report, the Senators are getting the largest tax break from the County Commissioners.
