#PA7: DCCC Wants Privileged Wealthy White Dudes to Replace Daylin Leach

Not like the Pennsylvania Democratic Party has been unresponsive to a string of recent sexual harassment allegations or incidents going back to the DNC Convention in Philadelphia or anything, but the D-Tripple-C is looking at two privileged, and wealthy, white dudes who’ll greatly benefit from Donald Trump’s tax cuts as Daylin Leach’s replacement in the Pennsylvania 7th Congressional District.

No.  Really.  Here’s an excerpt from Philly.com:

Sources said the DCCC recently apprached Tanner Rouse, a former Philadelphia prosecutor and current state Senate candidate, about running for Congress.  The committee also reached out to Dave Foster, an Army Veteran and founder of real estate development company, a source said.

Hmmmm, real-estate you say?  Well, Tanner Rouse is also the “scion” of the former Philadelphia skyscraper developer William Rouse III.

If you look at a picture of the Pennsylvania Congressional Delegation, you’ll quickly come across the fact that there is not a single Congresswoman coming from the Keystone State, and replacing a male candidate, who dropped out of the race due to sexual harassment allegations, with two other wealthy white dudes is, ummmmmmmmm, can we say, shitty fucking optics.

I’m sure that this is just one of the many reasons why Pennsylvania ranks 40th in female representation in state government and has an all-dude Congressional delegation.   It may also be the reasons why female legislators are consistently locked out of important budget discussions and leadership positions and why we’re about to have a serious discussion on #MeToo sexual harassment and workplace reforms in the state capitol.
