This Saturday is the Woman’s March on Washington D.C. At 10am thousands will be gathering on the National Mall to stand for our rights.
We stand together in solidarity with our partners and children for the protection of our rights, our safety, our health, and our families – recognizing that our vibrant and diverse communities are the strength of our country.
This is a very important march as it is happening the same day as President-Elect Donald Trump becomes the 46th President of the United States of America.
In addition to the march in D.C. there are solidarity marches happening across the nation, including Philadelphia.
I recently wrote a post here on what tools you should have for a protest. Even though, this is more of a march than a protest, I would suggest taking a look at that article and prepare before you go.
The D.C. and Philly events start at 10am. The Philly event is on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
I will be at the Philly march covering it for RCP. If you see me come say hi!
