Pennsylvania’s state parks belongs to us, the people. They do not belong to State Representative Brian Ellis or the Republicans and Democrats who seek to privatize them as a way to generate revenue. They do not belong to Arnold Palmer or developers who would like to build golf courses, water attractions or hotels inside of them. They do not belong to the political appointees who would decide who gets to develop what project at which park. And they do not belong to Governor Wolf, who has put himself at odds with environmentalists and who tacitly supports the legislation.
Our parks belong to us and let the Governor and those who signed on to this bill know that.
