On Monday of this week, a delegation of PA citizens visited Senator Pat Toomey’s office in Allentown to urge him to support working families. The visit was timed to correspond to Monday’s White House Summit on Working Families in Washington, D.C. Members of the delegation urged Toomey to support working families by raising the minimum wage, ensuring equal pay for equal work, advocating for paid sick and family leave, and making childcare and educational support programs for young children accessible and affordable.
