Climate Change Will Wash Hipsters Out of Fishtown and Put Parts of South Philly Underwater

With the irreversible melting of the West Antarctic Ice Sheet and the potential for 10 feet of sea level rise, here is what will happen to those living near the Delaware River in South Philadelphia and Fishtown.  It shouldn’t be surprising that parts of South Philadelphia will be underwater and, probably a good thing for some, the hipsters occupying parts of Fishtown will be washed away (hurray?!?!?!).

Thanks to Climate Central, here is what South Philadelphia and the Riverwards look like with 0, 5 and 10 feet of sea level rise.

Looks like the Phillies, Eagles, Flyers and Sixers will have to look for a new place to play…

Now moving onto the cleansing of the hipsters…

So there you have it.  Maybe Tom Corbett will reconsider his views on climate change?
