The Turkish Revolution Won’t be Televised; It will be Fueled by the American Military Industrial Complex

While the United States is publicly denouncing the attacks against peaceful protesters in Istanbul and other cities in Turkey, their hypocrisy is fueling the Turkish Revolution (yes, we should consider this a revolution) via riot gear and chemical warfare.  A statement from the State Department read:

“We believe that Turkey’s long-term stability, security and prosperity is best guaranteed by upholding the fundamental freedoms of expression, assembly and association, which is what it seems these individuals were doing.

“These freedoms are crucial to any healthy democracy,” [Department Spokesperson] Psaki added.
