What About the Seven Democrats Who Voted to Gut Philadelphia’s Paid Sick Leave?

Earlier today, the Philadelphia Daily News and the Pennsylvania House Democratic Caucus took aim at the Republican Party for passing Senate Bill 333, the bill that would gut Philadelphia’s paid sick leave through preemption.  But what about the seven Senate Dems who took this shameless vote?  They include John Blake, Lisa Boscola, Jim Brewster, Judy Schwank, John Wozniak and prime sponsor John Yudichak.

These seven Democrats voted with the corporatist party of Scott Wagner and John Eichelberger.  Was this a shameless vote that attacked Philadelphia working families so they can please their constituents or was there some backroom vote trading going on?

The title says it all. The #GOP’s “sick-leave move is a slap in the face to hundreds of thousands of workers struggling to survive.”
