Why I’m Not Voting for Hillary Clinton

Vol. One.

Clinton said: “We came out of the White House not only dead broke but in debt. We had no money when we got there, and we struggled to piece together the resources for mortgages for houses, for Chelsea’s education. You know, it was not easy.”

I think that this should be reason number one why populists and progressives shouldn’t vote for Hillary Clinton when it comes to 2016.  Oh boo who, Hillary and Bill Clinton had no money when they came out of the White House in 2000.  Bill Clinton is now worth $80,000,000 and charged $100,000 a speech after leaving the White House.  To be claiming that you had a “hard time” coming out of the White House while your husband charged those types of fees shows how out of touch she is when it comes to the everyday needs of working class Americans.  Does she know what it is like living from paycheck to paycheck?  Being doused in student loan debt?  Having to live off of SNAP benefits?  What it feels like to work with her hands at $7.25 an hour?  No she doesn’t.  And I am not willing to vote for someone who makes these claims so we can break a glass ceiling.  If we were to break a glass ceiling of getting a woman in the Oval Office, it would be someone who can live up to Elizabeth Warren’s stature.
